More visitors

We had a fire practice and later real firefighters came to talk to us about their fire engine.

Georgia's Grannie came to play her melodeon and we sang songs, clapped the rhythm and danced.

Our First School Visit

We had our first school visit to Blooms Garden Centre and Bressingham Steam Museum.

First, we sat at a table in the cafe colouring a place setting mat.  We coloured in different flowers and vegetables whilst we waited for our hot drink.

Then, we decorated some pots and planted broad beans and cress.

After that, we walked to the museum. We looked for shapes, letters and numbers all over the different exhibition areas. We compared the sizes of different things and talked about things that looked old and things that looked new.

Later, we went on two trains, visited the signal box and had a go on the gallopers. We finished our exciting day at the park.

Thank you to all the people that helped to make our visit so special!

Reading Share Day

Today, we had our Reading Share Morning. Our grown ups were invited to come and join in with different reading activities and games.

There were games to practise our phonic skills.

There were activities where we could see there was a real reason for reading: instructions, recipes, potions and lovely stories.

Thank you to everyone who was able to come. There was a letter giving a summary of the day to grown ups who were working and unable to come.

Visiting the church and welcoming visitors to our school.

This week everybody made Moon Rock cakes. We got the idea from a story we read about aliens having a moon party food on the moon.

We harvested flowers and vegetables from our school allotment. Then we went to our Harvest Festival at the church.

We were visited this week by Osiligi Maasai Warriors from Kenya in Africa. They danced, sang, whistled and jumped to illustrate stories. They looked so awesome!
