New experiences

We have had lots of new experiences this week.

We all got changed for P.E. and Mrs Fisher taught us how to use the big space on the field safely.

In Funky Fingers, we were learning how to hold a pencil with a firm 'bird'grip and as the music played we did lots of different activities to make the muscles in our fingers stronger.

Mrs Sullivan read How to Catch a Star by Oliver Jeffers. She challenged us to think of our own ideas of how to catch a star. Everybody looked carefully and talked about what they could see as we made Moon Rock Cakes. Did you like them and have you tried the recipe?

In Phonics this week, we have been learning the sounds s,a,t,p and we have been trying hard not to add an 'urh'sound to each of them! Please help us to practise these at home.
