December already!

Our learning has been inspired by the weather and the time of the year. We read a story about a boy who had a kite so on a very windy day, we decided to make kites too.

When some of the kites flew well, we used ideas from them to adapt other kites.

We have been on some more wellie walks. One day, we collected twigs and sticks and compared them by their length. Another day, it was very frosty and we walked to the playing field in the village and here we compared it to our field back at school.

We have been learning to tell the story of the Gingerbread man. This has also inspired us to make our own gingerbread men and we have been counting the buttons on other gingerbread men too.

Dr James came to visit us and talked to us about his job. We had the unique opportunity of examining some poorly and hurt soft toys using some real doctors' equipment.

Now, we are counting the days to Christmas and practising for our Christmas show.
